Steven Gordon

Managing Director

Steven is co-founder and owner of Blue Planet IT Ltd and has over 30 years of experience in IT across multiple sectors and disciplines at an engineering level and as part of senior leadership teams to deliver cutting edge solutions that help businesses to innovate and drive efficiencies through technology. While having overall oversight of the business he heads up the Cyber Security and Development departments of the business.

Markus Backman

Operations Director

Markus has over 20 years of experience within the Information Technology space. As co-founder and owner of Blue Planet IT Ltd his mission revolves around fostering cutting-edge technological advancements, empowering businesses to thrive in the digital age and nurturing a culture of excellence and collaboration with the organisation. With an unwavering commitment to strong values, honesty and sustainable growth that prioritises the needs of customers and Blue Planet IT staff.

Helen Gordon

HR and Finance Director

With over 30 years in Business, Helen brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing both the HR and finance teams as well as being an important member of the Blue Planet IT senior leadership team. She has an unwavering commitment to fostering an environment where customer satisfaction and employee wellbeing are paramount.

Grant Milsom

Head of Service Delivery

Grant has 13 years’ experience, starting his career as an IT apprentice before moving into roles from onsite IT technician, to first, second, and third line IT support. His hands on IT experience in many customer facing roles has given him a wealth of knowledge around service delivery and customer satisfaction. Grant now leads a first-class team of support engineers at Blue Planet IT and prides himself on his positive attitude and always delivering excellent customer service, which he instils into his team.

Joe Cook

Head of Professional Services

Joe has almost 20 years of IT experience starting in IT Support before moving into senior roles leading a team responsible for delivering high level projects. Joe is an expert in building customer strategy and identifying opportunities to maximise business growth through IT Services as well as developing solutions to protect business and education environments from the ongoing threat of cyber-attack. Joe has a lot of experience, dealing with small businesses to larger companies with multi-national reach and prides himself on his friendly professionalism.

Jamie Woolward

Head of Central Services

Jamie has worked in the world of IT for over 15 years, starting out as a support engineer before moving into more senior consultancy and solution specialist roles. Jamie has a wealth of knowledge in cloud migration, digital transformation, security, and online data management. Jamie is extremely passionate about all things technical, working with customers from all industries to help them succeed with the use of technology, and is dedicated to providing exceptional IT services.
